So far animating and importing Rigged content does not work. Animating by Morphsing works but not rigged animations.
This brings up a question. Can I using the Foreground layer run a 2D animated clip, then at the end of the clip remove the layer so I am looking at the 3D layer. If that works, then based on 3D interaction bring up one of several 2D animated clips, potentially leading to other 3D scenes. Obviously I would want the last and first frames of the animated clips being the same as the 3D scenes that the viewer is either leaving or entering. And I would love to do this seamlessly. (This would also require less overhead than doing the entire thing in 3D though it would be less interactive. Is this possible? |

Currently the VMP does not support Rigged Animation, just confirming your statement.
You can collapse or clip a MTSTimeElem and Trigger it over the timeline, to acheive your goal. You'll find the code necessary in Code Reference You may also find chapeter 8 of theAuthoring Guide Let me know if you need more help. -QA Enliven |
