For some reason when I import files with multiple objects they come in miss aligned. The objects are lined up correctly in max and also in deep exploration. but when I import into enliven the aren't. I export from max as an .ase file the export that as a vlink from deep exploration. I also have the same issue when I import .ase directly into enliven.

when you say they are mis-aligned, are you referning to objects in a hierarchy are not aligned correctly with their parents/children?

Or are you referring to multiple objects composing a single composition are somehow scattered when imported?

Or are you referring to objects are not aligned properly in their animations when brought in? Are you referring to bone animations?

Or are you referring to pivots not staying put?

Need more info.

Regards

In the case of Carrara, multiple objects composing a single composition are somehow scattered when imported pretty much covers it.

Thanks, BTL. I'll download the latest version of Carrara and take a look.

I don't believe that the version downloaded is the latest version but needs the patch applied. 6.03 is the latest version. (And 6.03 makes some changes to the viewpoint export.)

I was referring to multiple objects composing a single composition are somehow scattered when imported. But I realized I hadn't reset my transforms before exporting. Once I went back and did that the problem was fixed. After making a mistake like that can you believe I'm teaching my co workers how to use enliven, life is funny. Thanks for the reply
