I noticed that the talk of a new version coming out in the summer has died down. I had been holding off updating some viewpoint content hoping a new version free of the publishing bugs would be coming out. Is there still going to be a new version coming soon?

It will definitely be coming out later this year, but a final release date has not been decided yet (hopefully the end of September). The new release is already in development and a lot of publisher bugs are in the midst of being fixed.

I've been wondering, too. Also wondering which version of DE it'll be coupled with.

I've been exporting as ASE from Max 9. I can't wait to see how much faster I will be able to complete projects when I don't have to fix the code also I want to see what new features will be there.

The arrival of Enliven 2.0 will happen soon. So, I'm sure we're watching. I'm glad it isn't as crazy here as it is a DAZ when new/updated software is expected. I'm hoping for a top notch product with top notch documentation.

I just installed my Carrara 6 Pro, and the VP export looks really good. When we start hitting DAZ with VP bugs/wishes they will be well presented.

I'm kinda giddy about installing Poser 6 right now. So much good stuff at once could over excite me .

Imagine Poser 6, Carrara 6 Pro, and Enliven 2.0 all at once! Wow1

Since it has been pointed out to the Carrara developers that the Carrara VET export still shows the Eovia Logo, perhaps they will update the exporter slightly (And at least give us the current Java only script for export) when they fix that. I don't expect much more in terms of an update there though.

ftm, the VET exporter in Carrara 6 doesnt really work good, since you can et ride of those anim buttons, even when you ask it to.

But i am sure they will fix it s00n.

DAZ 3D is already using MY "adding a new dimension to 3D" with Carrera. Yes, I've got proof of copyright from a few years back )

I don't mind though, I won't sue them if they don't mind me using it, too.

'Been working with Carrera 6 Pro. Decided to do some "Space" stuff for diversity and practice. (I know you guys love that stuff! Little half nekkid girls with guns and swords and stuff ) I imported one of my little girls into a "space ship" in Enliven. Right now, when I try to pan the scene, she doesn't stay with the ship, she flies all over the place.

So, anyway, I'll go play some where and wait for Enliven 2
