Hi Prasanna,
I'm sorry. Somehow this slipped by me. Two years too late, I realize, but I saw the demos are still running and your company seems to be doing very well! Anyway, I just wanted to extend my congratulations on your virtual home tours. They are really quite beautifully done! I love the interface and the composition and layout is very intuitive and easy to navigate. I did notice that alot of the flash players on your pages are suffering from the EOLAS fix in Internet Explorer where people have to "click to activate this active x control". I would just recommend that you implement the EOLAS fix where you have javascript dynamically write the flash objects and embeds. It will get rid of those nasty active x activation squares. As far as the vet content, it is very clean and well done. I like the intro animations of going through the doors -- really brings you into the scene. Your use of camera constraints is very good and stops any clipping of geometry. In the future, if you do more architectural tours, I might recommend that you create the rooms with radiosity lighting in you favorite 3D application to get photo-realistic results. Then bake the radiosity solution into the textures in the model before bringing into VET. This would yield extremely realistic results! Regards |
