Can somebody tell me how to get rid of the pop up box headed YOU HAVE BEEN UPDATED? I know there is supposed to be a button marked "install updates," but the position that the box displays in, I can't reach the buttons. The box absolutely does not move. The viewpoint box in control panel/display similarly displays in an unusable position. It's very annoying, because the pop up covers work on the screen. IF I remove viewpoint from my system entirely, will it disappear?

The Viewpoint popup that you are seeing is being offered as an opt-in experience based on your Viewpoint Manager Preference settings. You can change these settings by opening the Viewpoint Manager Control Panel (Start>Settings>Control Panel) (switch to Classic View if you are using Windows XP)>Viewpoint Manager) and checking "disable auto-update for the Viewpoint Manager."

If you decline our invitation using the "No, Thanks" button on the "Details" page, the toolbar will not install, no settings will be changed and the dialog box will disappear.

If you already opted-in by clicking "Update" and would like to completely remove the Viewpoint Toolbar, we offer a guide here: http://search.viewpoint.com/help/uninstall.html -- This guide can also be accessed by clicking on the Viewpoint logo in the upper right of the Viewpoint Toolbar and selecting Uninstall.
