Posted on behalf of Ron: I get an error message when I try to sign on to AOL 8.0...I can sucessfully sign onto 7.0. How can I just uninstall 8.0 and maybe re-install to work? I contacted AOL and have tried clearing cache, history, etc....nothing is working. Can someone help????

Hi Ron,

Can you please tell us why you are posting this on the Viewpoint Forums? Does this have something to do with your themes? It doesn't sound like it. Please be aware that Viewpoint does not act as a support organization for AOL installation. We create the software that displays their themes (among other things), but we do not create the entire AOL installation mechanism. Did someone at AOL direct you to this forum? I had a problem with AOL 9.0 on a system today that was resolved by uninstalling Viewpoint Media Player. Does anybody know if there is a trick to getting VMP and later versions of AOL to get along on a system running Windows 2000?
