How do I create a page that can install the plugin automatically if the visitor didn't have one? I used the SceneBuilder and the MediaPublisher to construct a simple page. But the detection script didn't work. Visitors who didn't have the plugins see a blank page.

Is it possible to auto-install Viewpoint plugin as easy as the Macromedia Flash one? (People without the plugin will get a security warning window)

The Media Publisher will create a sub-directory below where the HTML page is and will put in there files called MTS3Interface.js and mtsAxDetect.vbs. These files are automatically included into the generated HTML page. These two script files automatically detect whether the viewpoint media player is installed and will auto-install the player (with a security warning of course).

If this is somehow not working for you we need to know whether you've perhaps modified the HTML page and stopped it working, whether you've included all relevant files when publishing to the web, whether they're all still named correctly (case-sensitive) and under which environment you've observed this behavior (OS, Browser and version).

It would help greatly if you could provide a URL for this content. If you're concerned about client confidentiality then you could email the link to:
