Does anybody know if it is possible to publish a viewpoint scene on a CD-Rom and include the player (which files would I need?) so someone can view the scene offline?
Is there a way to autoinstall the player when you run the cd, and does it work on mac's and pc's?

You can publish the VET scene on a CD. You can download the Viewpoint Media Player from our Download page:

https://components.viewpoint.com/MTSInstallers/VMPFullInstall_3_0_7_57.exe

This will give you the full, uncompressed, installation.

I am sure that you can just prompt folks to install the Viewpoint Media Player when they first run the CD, or you can have a small utility that automatically runs the exe. It is probably better to prompt them to install.

We do have a VMP for the Mac platform as well. It is a beta. I would recommend you go to the download page and read about the player and how to install it. At that time you can make a decision as to whether you wish to include it or not.
