I am the Webmaster of www.no-regrets-tattoos.com. If you goto the tattoo flash section of that Website (http://www.no-regrets-tattoos.com/flash/flash1.html), you will see that I have integrated VP Zoomview to interact with the pages. I just realized, that the outdated versions of VP applications that I used to originally create the zoomview content no longer work with Vista. I already have downloaded the most recent version of the VP media player installer and have that available for download on the pages, but I have one more issue to resolve.
If you hit those pages now and you do not already have VP media player installed, an outdated version of an automatic VP media player installer runs and attempts to automatically install an older version of the player. Make things worse, if you are running Vista, this auto installer will not execute correctly or causes major issues. (At least on my machine and have to assume others with Vista.) What changes to code can I make, which would run the most recent version of the VP media player installer (if one is available), that in turn would install the most recent version of VP media player - or the same version, the one I have available that works with Vista, and at the same time might detect the presence of an older version if installed and give the option to update it? Finally, when is a version of VP media player ever going to become available for use with Mozilla browsers or the auto installer or installer ever going to integrate with Mozilla based browsers?? |

Hello,
Please go to http://developer.viewpoint.com and download the latest MTS3Interface.js (middle of the page) and read the instructions "5.0.2 API Reference". It will describe in detail different options for setting up your VMP html constructor line as I noticed you are still using an outdated constructor line with a broadcast key. Broadcast keys are no longer required and if you follow the instructions, you won't need to point to one. It will also take care of all of your concerns for compatiblility on Vista, pointing to the appropriate installer, and the appropriate updates. It should also solve any issues you are having with Mozilla browsers. We are compatible with Mozilla browsers and the reason you might be having issues is due to your old MTS3Interface.js (you are currently using vesion 3.0.7.33 and the most recent is 5.0.2.13) and old constructor line.
