I'm also discovering now that it doesn't work on Netscape 7.1 either. Again, this is just the tester page that appears to be broken, the talkpoint applications on the website appear to be fine. Unless there is supposed to be sound, in which case it is not playing.

Hi
You might need to upgrade your broadcastkey. The use of Talknow in vmp 3.0.15 requires a modified broadcastkey for the sound to play. The same hold true for the new Scene capture saves to a remote server. hth DavidR |

Okay last thing...I have reson to believe that a hotfix has been pushed through for Windows XP operating systems, even in the event auto-update is turned off. It appears, and I could be wrong that Microsofts implementation of Java VM has been replaced with Sun's Java VM 2. I could be wrong, but could this affect the code in the tester page which loads the filename the user enters?

I appreciate your help, but I'm not sure I follow...
I'm not broadcasting or publishing anything though. I'm saying the tester page that comes with the Talknow converter software is broken. All the sample content on the viewpoint page still works, but the tester page included in the download does not work. In the meantime, I have never had a broadcast key of any kind before and it always worked fine. In the past all I've had to do to make the talknow converter work is download the talknow converter and then install the browser plug-in. I have never needed to download a broadcast key before. |
