Hi Dbutler,
We should back up a bit with this question, as you seem to be getting ahead of yourself. An MTS file is not something you just open up in a browser. First of all, how are you creating this file? Is it coming out of 3DStudio Max, Maya, or another program? Are you using an Exporter plugin that gets installed in that program? Or, are you exporting a file type, such as .OBJ or .ASE into Viewpoint's Scene Builder application? Note that all of these methods mentioned above will yield two types of files: MTS and MTX. One is the geometry for the scene and the other is a text-based scene description file. However, you need to make a reference to the MTX in an HTML page in order to view it. Thus, you should download the free application called Media Publisher from Viewpoint's site. This is a drag and drop application that will THEN allow you to view your scene. As far as a "display box", Viewpoint does not feature any sort of display or bounding box. Can you elaborate on what you mean by this or provide a screenshot as an illustration? ~Chris |
