why is my windows media player not working in my netscape browser

Do you really mean "windows media player"? Or do you mean your Windows Viewpoint Media Player? I'm assuming that you mean Viewpoint player.

There can be many reasons, but without more information it's virtually impossible to guess. We don't support Netscape 6 at this time for example. If you installed Netscape after you already had the viewpoint player installed then the viewpoint player won't be integrated into Netscape because at install-time, Netscape wasn't there.

Additional info required:

Which operating system do you have?

Which version of netscape do you have?

Did you install the plugin from an executable (and possibly old) installer or direct from the web?

Did you install the media player from Internet explorer?

Are you on NT/2K/XP Professional and if you are, do you have administrator privileges (the right to install software)?

I could go on but I'd rather get more (some) information first.
