I have created a Viewpoint animation sequence that is triggered by javascript and published in HTML. It works great. I also have a Flash animation that plays the same animation next to it for comparison.
With both playing the Flash slows and the Viewpoint seems to have a sort of latency? I checked the processes and realized that the CPU is maxxxxxed out at 100% whether the viewpoint animation is running or not. I eliminated the Flash and still got the same result. Is Viewpoint designed to use up all the CPU? Is there a process running in the background and if so can I turn it off? I am trying to use the processor for other processes in the page and can't do it with Viewpoint acting this way.

Hi AudioGuy,

There is a bug that causes an apparent 100% CPU to show on some systems. However, the VMP is NOT using 100% of the CPU - it just shows up that way. The upcoming release of the VMP will correct this minor bug.

Cheers - Andrew
