Hi
I am quite new to Viewform, I didnt even know this forum did exist. I have a page with some stuff, and it looks great. Now I am working on the compatibility issue, so that every visitor can know that there is a plugin, and how it can be installed. So I saw that on the viewpoint-site, this is being used: mtsClick('none') and the new v5 blue screen-split appears. It looks great, no error messages or whatever. (My old used the v4) Now, when I tried to implant mtsClick on my page, the v4 appeared, and it doesn have the same compatibility. What have I done wrong? |

Hi Haider !!
Are you using the latest MTS3Interfce.js file? If not, kindly download it from Viewpoint Developer Central - Headlines section at the right side of the home page. Hope this helps. Cheers, Anup |

well, here I am again.
It must have been some failure with the ftp client. the .js-file was never updated, until now However, not the mtsClick('none') doesnt even work. Do I need some other .js file? And do you know why it has to be 'none' ? |

Hey Baby-Phoenix, I'd be greatful if you could check out these
http://www.animadesign.se/viewpoint.html -- v5 http://www.animadesign.se/viewpoint_v4.html -- yeah, v4 In v4, when you click the mtsClick-link, it works nice (besides its the old v4) But in the v5, it seems not to work, whats wrong? The page is in swedish, hope it doesnt mess up for you. But its quite logical to find the link for mtsClick |

Hi !!
For V5, remove the word 'none'. You can just leave it as mtsClick() or you can specify your own desired path (instead of 'none') to search for the installer files. This path can be somewhere on your own server where you have the installer file placed. Hope this helps. Cheers, Anup |

Hey, this is great
You have so much knowledge!, Thanx About the installer, is it the .exe installer or something else? I dont find anything about an EXE installer in the mtsinterface.js file, but one CAB and one JAR file. And about the path, should it be the complete path, like: mtsClick('filer/vmp_installer.exe') or only the dir-name "filer" ? Thank you for taking your time, I appreciate that. |

You need to try with EXE. Let me know the results. Thanx. Cheers, Anup |

Hmm, I seem to have bad luck with that.
I even tried to remove everything and keep mtsClick() but nothing happened. Is there any other .js file needed? I will go hunt bugs and hopefully find something. What you said, about the path does make sense, but there seem to be something in my way. The alert(IsMTSInstalled()) does work, so the script should be correctly linked into the page. Any idea what it could be? |
