I'm writing an web application that will have hundreds of viewpoint models and I MUST use viewpoint inside a layer.

And on IE it does a weird "shake" when the user moves the model.

I'll release the site on sept 15th. I don't want that people thinks that viewpoint is a bad technology.

So hurry up guys!!! I count on you.

do you have a link we could look at to see the problem?

sounds like you have the viewpoint content in a layer over another plug-in (eg flash)

Yes, I'm running viewpoint over flash, and flash over viewpoint. The viewpoint layer is in the middle, and I can't change this layout. It's a viewpoint plugin error.. It works perfectly on Firefox, but messes up user experience on IE.

I need a viewpoint plugin update.

Sorry, but this has been an issue for a long time. If flash is on top of vet, vet will always try to render on top. There is no fix for this at present and given that your site needs to go live by the 15th, I strongly suggest finding a different way. A vmp update will not be out in time for you I'm afraid.

Since you can't change the layout, why don't you try putting the Flash animation on the foreground of the VMP scene? Your layers remain intact, the experience will be as envisioned, and all may work well together...

Ok, now we removed the top flash layer. But I still have the problem. The structure now is a flash layer and viewpoint layer over the flash.

I can't put the flash animation inside Viewpoint because it's a fully interactive interface, full of actionScript. And It just doesn't work.

The public release was postponed to November.

This site will pull up the viewpoint technology. Wait and you will see.
