When testing with IE 5 and Netscape 4.7 the Viewpoint pop-up installation runs it's course, installs the minimum components and the cube is displayed, but when the window is closed the page which initiated the install's Viewpoint object is ignored.
In order to see the content the page must be refreshed. Is this a bug which is going to be fixed 'soon' Is there some work around to fix this problem Thanks, Heru |

Hi Heru,
Could you provide a link to the content either here in a reply or by email to: qa-support@viewpoint.com and we can see what the problem is. You don't mention which OS you were testing with. Normally the browser version is the most important but often the OS has an effect also. It may be that you're using an old version of the MTS3Interface.js file. This file handles most of the work of the auto-installation. If you look into this file and check that it has a version number of 3.0.7.33. That is the latest released version. It's also possible that you closed the "cube" window too soon, before it had chance to refresh the opener (the original window). -Derek |
