I evaluate the player in our intranet. The connection to the internet through the proxy has to be opened by a userid and a password. Some user don't have access permission.
If the viewpoint content is displayed on a web page, the proxy validation form will be opened always. I guess, this is caused by checks for updates of the player.
My question is, how I can switch-off this internet connection?

You can turn off the check for updates using the viewpoint control panel which is downloadable from this page:

I can't find the check for updates option in the last version of the Viewpoint control panel. Is it possible to turn off the check for updates some other way?
