I'm brand-new to Enliven, so please forgive the entry-level question. Will Enliven support a Max import animated with bones? Many thanks in advance.

Yes.

If you are using 3DS Max, you would import your .max file directly into Enliven. Enliven links with Right Hemisphere's Deep Exploration to all allow you to import .max directly. However, I did notice issues with this using 3DS Max 8. If that's the case, you can still import your .max file into Deep Exploration (which comes bundled with Enliven), and then export a .rh or .vlink file for use in Enliven.

Either way, your bone animations will be translated into mesh morph animations. The bone objects and kinetic controls themselves do not come in.

Regards
