Hello

Is it allowed to change the filename for the *.mts & *.mtz files, not the extension, but the first-name itself?

I opened the mtz file in a text-editor, and could see that the filename of the mts (the big file) is being mentioned there.

So, can I change the filename?

Hi !!

Its always a good idea to publish a VET scene with the desired name rather than renaming later. Also do not use names which you have already used for any of the geometry objects in the scene.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Hi

The problem I had was, when publishing (and giving the object a name) the texture didnt show up.

But If I took the temp-file, and used it in the homepage, the texture of the 3d object worked nice.

Now, I dont know why this happens, thats why I asked if its ok to rename

I also found out that the .MTX file is a text-file, so I opened the temp-mtx-file, and renamed the link to the .MTS file from there.

You know anything about the texture-problem? Should I attach a RAR file with the published files so you check it out?

Hey Phoenix, thanx for taking your time.

So far, I attached the end-result. You can check it for yourself and see the "bug" I am talking about. Only when you are very close to the object, you will see that the texture is visible.

I will try to attach the complete project later.

Hi Buddy !!

I checked your file. Your published file has the SAME NAME as your object in the scene - backpack.

As I mentioned in my previous post "DO NOT publish a file with names which you have already used for any of the geometry objects in the scene".

Republish your scene with a different name and it will work.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Anup
