what is broadcast key?what does it do?

The broadcast key used to be required to display VMP content on the web. However, the need for a broadcast key was discontinued with the release of Enliven about a year and a half ago.

Since some old content on the web may still be using a broadcast key, we provide a universal broadcast key available on our Developer Central website (http://developer.viewpoint.com) for older content. However, any content created with Enliven does not require a broadcast key.
