I like using my Viewpoint Toolbar. I use it mostly for the bookmarks.

The problem I face about once a week is its disappearance. It just isn't there anymore.

when I right click on the blank space above where the bar should be, I see that it indicates Viewpoint Toolbar. But it is not available (greyed out).

Why does the Toolbar disappear?

Do you happen to have any other Toolbar installed? There are two possible explanations:

1) A competing Toolbar may be hiding the Viewpoint Toolbar

2) There is a known bug in IE that can hide/unhide toolbars

I would recommend that you unhide the Viewpoint Toolbar and then Lock the Toolbars. This should disable whatever may be causing the hiding and availability issue.

Yes, the competing toolbar is your One toolbar.
The One bar is grayed out too, but has a check mark next to it. There is no other evidence of it.

I have not been able to get rid of it and it uses too much real estate while doing nothing (except save the world, but I'm not into that). There are no other toolbars as I've been very loyal to yours and don't wish to have more than one.

After that, that the Viewpoint Toolbar is greyed out does indicate that it is hidden.
The options do not allow for it to be Unhidden.

Ok, I took this a step further...
Using the Control Panel utility Add/Remove Programs, I removed Viewpoint Toolbar V35(removeonly). This uninstalled the Toolbar, asking me along the way if I wished to keep the bookmarks and Fotomat stuff in place (I said YES)
Ok, so then I reinstalled the Toolbar. And Voila! It reappears within my browser, all seems intact. The One toolbar still seems to be there, but only as indicated earlier.

The question I have, how long now shall I expect for it (the Toolbar V35) to remain showing? We shall see grasshopper, we shall see.

It is not clear why or how. This time, it is nice to have the notes from last time to refer to..so I may uninstall what isn't there and then reinstall the toolbar.

This is a goofy problem that I doubt you take too seriously.
