Hi,
I've got the following problem I've made an animation with 3d Studio Max and exported it in the right way in the ASE format. In Viewpoint Scene Builder I pasted it through the animation menue in the MTX file. In this file are the following lines: ![]() http://www.interphat.de/prob.gif But the animation isn't starting, not even with the "triggeranimation()" command. Who can help me? Sincerely: Jan |

I've got the same problem. The animation works fine in the 'builder, but seems to fail in the HTML. The weird thing is that i'm running both a translation animation (moving a box) and the rotation animation. The translation turns out fine, the rotation seems to appear in the .mtx but nothing happens. I've tried making a simple rotating box in Max, with no other objects in the scene, but with the result: No animation (not even a button), when the stuff reaches HTML.
Im due to deliver a presentation Tuesday, anyone with a bright idea? cheers Rune S[0.0346 -0.5839 1.9583] S[0.0346 0.2216 1.9583] - - - T[90.00263 0.00263 -90.00263 0 0 0 0 0] |

I have an animation of a World Globe that I turn 360 degrees and I rotate it from 0 to 360 in one step. It appears to work very well. What is supposed to happen by not breaking it up in 90 degree segments? I am very new at this.

I'm having trouble with rotation as well. The animation appears to run fine in the builder. But when I publish only the position animation appears to work. I have looked through the other postings here to get ideas of what I may do to correct the problem. But I'm still stuck. I'm very new at this and have been using the SDK C++ sample code to create the MTX file. So when I opened the file to look at it myself. I was a little lost.
I was going to attach the MTX files to this posting so that perhaps someone with better knowledge would be able to take a glance at it. But there doesn't seem to be that option in the reply window. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where/who I could send the sample MTX output file to? |
