Hi,
MTSEvent.WorldPoint / Point seems to work great if the event is catched straight from the Instance holding the Geometry.. However it seems that if you have a PassClick="2" on the holder instance and try to handle the event from the parent WorldPoint returns always [0 0 0]. Is there any way to get the correct event coordinates if there is PassClick attributes in the hierarchy? -henkka |

Hi,
Here is a simple presentation that shows the problem.. WorldPoint returns always 0 0 0. If you remove the PassClick and target the MTSInstance Simple_0 WorldPoint works ok. In complicated scenes passing events to the higher level with PassClick is a really handy feature since you don't need to have an separate interactor for each mesh instance. Does anybody know if there is some way to pass the WorldPoint to the parent as well? BR, -henkka WorldPoint.zip (8 KB, 5 downloads) WorldPoint demo |
