I've got the Carrara5 program with possibility to export files in .vet format.
Please tell me how can I use it on my site. Where and what should I add to html to remove watermarks? |

Hello,
To remove watermarks, you can do either of two things. 1. The html that the Carrara VET exporter publishes contains a javascript contstructor line for instatiating the VMP (looks something like: vmp = new MTSPlugin("myMTX.mtx", 440, 304, "/bkey.mtx", "popUp", "GenieMinimumVersion=50332496"); ). This constructor line will contain a parameter pointing to a broadcast key (bkey). You can download the free universal broadcast key from our Developer Central website at http://developer.viewpoint.com (scan the page for Universal B-Key). This universal broadcast key is free and will work on any content on any server for 5 years. We provide this free broadcast key as a courtesy for any developers that have old content that was published the "old guard" way before we released Enliven and the new VMP. 2. Download the new MTS3Interface.js file from Developer Central (scan page for "MTS3Interface 5.0.2 Released"). Follow the instructions in the "5.0.2 API Reference" for using the new MTS3Interface.js and new javascript constructor line options. If you set up the constructor line as shown in the examples and use the new 5.0.2 MTS3Interface.js, you will not need a broadcast key. This is the preferred method since the new MTS3Interface.js contains fixes for displaying content correctly on Firefox as well as many options for user experience installing the VMP. Incidentally, our new authoring environment, Enliven Pro, publishes content this new way and therefore needs no broadcast key. I hope that helps. FYI, we are in the final stages with our reseller, Rich 3D and Daz3D of developing a video explaining how to successfully work with Carrara and bring the files created via Carrara's VET exporter into Enliven Pro. We can make special arrangements for you to view the video early. If are interested, contact david@rich3d.com. He can tell you how to become a beta tester for bringing content into Enliven Pro from the Carrara VET exporter. Regards |
