I have an empty scene Problem.

I use SceneBuilder v3.0.11.131 and the latest Viewpoint Media Player installed on my system.

Even when making the simplest scene in scene builder (only a primitv sphere, no textures or animations) when published the scene won't show up in the webbrowser. Of course the tutorial files and so on don't show up also.

since i am from germany i read the thread about "," and "." in *.mtx files and fixed this problem. but the scene show up neither with "," nor with ".".

Becauce of another bug in the deep exploration vmi module i am in really big need of help about this problem, so i at least can publish my scenes manually.

Hi,
Do u have problem in publishing the mt?
Open the .MTX file in any7 editor and check it for the codes
<MTSScene>
</MTSScene>

Also You open the .mtx in scene builder.Add some more primitives and save the .mtx file as it is..
Now you open your webbrowser and refresh it.
It will open your scene.
You try this procedure.
I also got the problem while i started newly. I did this procedure and recovered.
So you try it.

Even if the problem continues When you r publishing your .mtx file you save the file (html file) as "name.html" Include the double quotes with the file name.

Ok Let me know after trying this.

Regards,
JPoint

Hello Stahlwolle
I have a theory on why your scenes end up empty.

They are empty, that is just it...you might be incorrectly referencing the *.mts file. The *.mts file holds the information about objects in a scene.
From within SceneBuilder, publish the scene to create several files: the *.mtx, the *.mts, and an HTML page to show the scene. If you want to modify the scene, then do so, but then only save to the *.mtx file. You do not want to overwrite the *.mts file.
...again, an empty scene indicates the *.mts file is inproperly referenced.
...additionally, make sure you have the proper reference for the broadcast key.

Hi, I'm new here. I got the same problem... I can see my object in the Scence Builder but it can't show up on IE.
It's weird that it can show up on others computer, just not mine....so I installed VET player, JAVA runtime environment but still didn't work......
Can anyone help me?
By the way, I got Norton's firewall and virus protection on my computer, could that be one of the reason? If so, how do I change it?
thanks a lot!!

Hi there
I think the problem lies in your constructor line...the declaration of the Viewpoint Experience Technology scene itself.
1) the *.mts file may be missing. If you carried the *.mtx file and the *.html file somewhere new, then you may have left behind the *.mts The *.mts file contains the object description code et al, and is essential. Without it you get a scene declared which is empty, no content.
2) the broadcast key may not be working correctly. Get the universal broadcast key at Dev Central.
