I need to know the setting for Billboard planars to always be in view or in front of the avator no matter where they go. (I know how to make normal billboard planars) I'm sure I saw a setting somewhere for this. Anyone know?
Knowing nothing about a subject has never stopped me from posting about it, so why change now? I'd have thought this'd be easier to do by attaching a script within Atmosphere itself, a bit like the skycone-centred-on-avatar?

For me rather than playing with scripts it is easier to simply switch on a control in scenebuilder hehehe. Looks like Im going to have to do some experiments. I was hoping a hexpert would know it. I used to know but I have forgotten.
Good to see you have your shoes on. Shelley

I'm going to have to bite the bullet and ask whats this about the sky cone centred on the avator? I found out what setting I had used previous but it was for hotspots not really suitable for what I had in mind.
I'll tell you what I'm trying to create and if it sounds suitable can you point me in the right direction for that script for atmos?
I have a snow flash on a plane, I made instances of the snow plane and put them behind each other to get a nice effect, then I made them billboard planar. I want the snow always to be in front of the avators eyes. Is this possible with the script?
Well yes I do know that atmosphere is for atmosphere and viewpoint is for viewpoint but I thought you might have had it tucked away on your hard-drive or something! loll
Shelley - my pc died a slow, horrible death before I had a chance to save anything like that It works only in safe mode and I've been unable to burn stuff to CD to transfer across to the new one

Oh Agnes how horrible. Is there anything I can do to help? Could you email me? I'm not technically very experienced but I may be able to help you get it to boot up normally. Email address: sheelberightmate_38@hotmail.com
