Hi all,

I understand that for each VPO brought into Atmo a separate renderer is required, slowing things down a lot if there's a large number of VPOs.

What I can't find out is if, say, I bring in one VPO and duplicate it within Atmosphere 4 times, does that equal 1 additional renderer, or 4 additional renderers?

Anyone? Help? Pretty please???

I personally believe it will slow down by some related x factor up to 4. To quickly test your VET model why not copy and paste the MTX text of the mesh 4 times inside the text file (and change position of each of the 4 instances) and compare to 4 examples as replicated in Atmo?

My bet: Atmo copies much slower

Hmmnnnn......... Smile

Trouble is, I'm instancing pretty complicated objects 50 times. I need about 200 of them in the world. But everything starts feeling a wee bit unstable in Scenebuilder by the time I've hit the 50th instance LOL
