Hi..

I'm having some issues with Flash Buttons, when the SWF is applied to an object as a texture.

I just need each button to launch a website when clicked. I can actually get this to work using interactors...

However! the hotspot positioning is wrong - its positioning remains static, regardless of whether the object has been moved.

How can i get buttons on flash texture maps to work properly? Is there any documentation on this?

Thanks - Mick

Hi Mick,

I may have some code handy that can help you, but I need to make sure I understand your problem correctly. Are you talking about flash as textures on 3D objects or 2D layers?

Hi..

Thanks for the reply - I am talking about flash as textures on 3D Objects.

Hi Mick
You stated:
"the hotspot positioning is wrong - its positioning remains static, regardless of whether the object has been moved"

This indicates that your hotspot object is in its own heirarchy. If you make the hotspot a child of the object, then when the object moves, the hotspot should move along with it.
Hope this helps.

Mick,

That's why I was not sure what you were looking for. In your question you asked how to put interactive flash as a texture. Then you also asked about why a hotspot in your scene is remaining static. I believe DavidR answered that question for you.

For the interactive flash as a texture, please see the attached code. This should help you in what you are looking for.
