As we all know, script access to plugins is unavailable on macintosh, due to a lack of implementation of Live Connect or similar technology. Recent news indicates this capability is going to be available in futute mozilla based browsers (see the link below for more info). Does Veiwpoint plan to update the mac plugin to take advantage of this new feature?

Viewpoint currently supports scripting in and out of Viewpoint Media Player via a proprietary solution. We are the only plugin on the Macintosh that has BIDIRECTIONAL scripting.

With that said, our implementaiton obviously is not as sleek as a built in framework for cross talk. So, we will certainly look at adopting industry standard solutions such as those proposed by the Mozilla foundation. However, we can not comment on our future direction as of yet. We don't currently support Firefox or Mozilla on the Macintosh.

Given the proper resources and demand, we will do everything we can to meet our customer's needs.
