Hi all, first - here is my current setup:

OSX Leopard 10.5.1
Safari 3.0.4
Viewpoint 3.5.1.13

Could anyone shed some insight into this problem? Viewpoint fails at loading media and constantly asks to install.

I've read the thread however the problem still exists.

I've completely removed Viewpoint and installed it from the toolbar on the website and restarted my browser (Safari). I have also installed Viewpoint from the latest image build for Mac

I am still being prompted to install Viewpoint.

Most likely it is because the content you are viewing is not using the latest MTS3Interface.
Please review the Mac release notes on http://developer.viewpoint.com and update your VMP content to use the new MTS3Interface file so that content is supported on OSX.
If you are still have problems after updating the MTS3Interface please post the link to the content you are viewing so we can look into the issue.

Thanks for making this clearer! Being a regularly new Viewpoint user this is all foreign to me.

If I understand you correctly, it is up to the content provider to ensure they are using the up-to-date MTS3Interface? The only media I am viewing with Viewpoint is Genealogy Information found at the following website:

https://www.novascotiagenealogy.com/ResultsPage.aspx

Is there anything I can do to view this information?

We have contacted The Nova Scotia Genealogy company to inform them of this issue. If you find that the issue persists please feel free to contact their company directly.

Now I understand this issue and am glad everything is installed O.K. - hopefully the new version will be widely implemented soon.
