I have been unable to successfully install the viewpoint plugin for Netscape Navigator 6 on WIN2K. Autoinstall does not work, and a manual download quits. Is this a known issue? While I can easily point a NN6 user at a different page, is there a workaround for the install or an expected release date for a compatible plugin? Where does information related to issues of browser compatibility live on the viewpoint site, specifically for NN6?

I noticed the download for the MAC beta plugin. Many thanks. I'll direct MAC users there.

Hi Sean,

The current release of the Viewpoint Media Player does not support Netscape Navigator 6. An upcoming release will support it, but I don't have a release date for it yet. I recommend you sign-up for the Viewpoint newsletter in the developer zone part of the website. Once NN6 is supported in a release of the player, then it will no doubt be announced in the newsletter as a headline item.
