Hi. Please excuse this knuckleheaded question. I'm not a programmer and am mainly interested in small interactive enhancements to my site. I've been reading about how VET uses XML and it made me wonder if VET might have built in abilities that would make it a good candidate for creating a scrolling newsfeed object that could grab selected newsfeeds from moreover.com or similar freexml/rss services.

I found a flash one here http://www.actionscript-toolbox.com/xmlobject.php but I don't own flash and am looking for stuff that is relatively easy to implement given my level.

If it can be done and anyone can point me to samples that may have similar functionality so that I can take them apart that would be great.

Yes that's indeed possible. I've got a demo that you can take apart and modify to take it's feed, not from a hard-coded string in the JavaScript, but from another external source.
