Hello,
When I export from Tuning Studio one of my objects dissapear. Also, the lightmaps seem to be upside-down. Anyone know why this happen?

Very unusual...

Well, there are several possibilities, but you need to supply much more information. What kind of object disappeared? What operations did you perform in Stream Tuning Studio? What version of STS were you using? Actually, if you could attach some files (before and after) it would really help.

Hi Chris,
I'm using v2.0.0.52 of STS.
At first I compressed the textures and set geometry detail on all objects to 14bit and got this problem. I also tried to export
without any optimizations/changes in STS but the problem still remained. The object (standard mesh, collapsed in max) are using
a multi/sub material can this be a part of the problem?
I also noted 'strange' scalings of the objects in the mtx file. For example this object who dissapeared had a scale of something like "x=0.000034, y=0.000034, z=0.000034".. another object had a scale of x=1234.0000,y=1234.0000,z=1234.0000.

Hmmm... those are really strange numbers for scaling. I still don't think it's an STS problem.

Is it possible for you to post before and after versions? I'm sorry that I can't think of other causes without seeing the files.

The only known case when the object might diappear is if it is a Poser model with mesh animation.

The object might appear inverted, and thus barealy visible. This might happen if the content was generated with pre-Dec. 2001 Scene Builder. When optimizing such a model turn on Two-sided property in Rendering Options to see it. Even thought the object is inverted in the MTS view it would appear just fine in the MTX/ web view.

The lightmaps might appear inverted if:
- is it not a lightmap but rather an enviroment map in 3DS Max or similar modeling application. Enviromental maps are very similar to VET lightmaps but just inverted.
- the specwrap parameter is set. Specwrap controls the "rotation" of lightmap (actually it does something else, but it looks like the lightmap is rotated).
