(Repost from Viewpoint Modelling)
I have noticed a problem in Stream Tuning Studio. I have a hierarchical model which loads fine in Scene Builder. It is an MTX file with reference to OBJ/MTL files. Both textures and colours (materials) are fine. I publish this in 2 ways: one for direct use, one for Stream Tuning Studio (STS). Both, when reloaded into Scene Builder, are correct. When I load the MTX I made for STS in STS, it appears fine, see http://members.ams.chello.nl/a.grigny/temp/grinch0.jpg . But when I hit View/Optimize, part of the clouring of some objects is gone, and if I save this to MTS, it is gone there too, see http://members.ams.chello.nl/a.grigny/temp/grinch1.jpg . Notice that, since it is a hierarchy, the meshes are all at the origin when optimizing. But you can see clearly that the bottom of the belly of the grinch has lost its colour. When I save this to MTS and reload it in Scene Builder, I get this picture: http://members.ams.chello.nl/a.grigny/temp/grinch2.jpg . You can download the zipped mts/mtx files that I load into STS here: http://members.ams.chello.nl/a.grigny/temp/grinch.zip , or email me for a copy: xelag@digitalspace.com. Alex. |

Another loss: I create a sphere primitive in SceneBuilder, and texture it by drag and drop. This publishes fine, but as in my previous message, when I hit View/Optimize in STS the texture is gone.
